Mitsubishi Outlander

Mitsubishi Outlander is a mid-size crossover produced since 2001. Among all Mitsubishi models, Outlander ranks between Outlander Sport (ASX)/Eclipse Cross and Montero Sport (Pajero Sport)/Endeavor.

The Mitsubishi Outlander 1 gen engines were typical for the car of this size: the 2.0-liter 4G63, the 2.4L 4G64, and the 2.4-liter 4G69. There was also Outlander Turbo R, which used the Lancer Evolution engine, but a less powerful one.
The Outlander 2 gen was created on the same platform with Peugeot 4007 and Citroën C-Crosser, it became larger and got the diesel Peugeot DW12 engines, as well as the 2.3-liter Mitsubishi 4N14. But the main engines remained gasoline ones, such as 4B11 and 4B12, as well as the top V6 6B31 with 3.0-liter displacement.
In 2012 production of 3 generation started, and the following Outlander engines were used in it: the 2.0-liter 4B11 and 4J11, the 2.4-liter 4B12 and 4J12, and the V6 3.0-liter 6B31; the 4N14 diesel engine remained.
