Mitsubishi Montero Sport / Pajero Sport

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport (Montero Sport, Nativa, Challenger) is a mid-size body-on-frame SUV that has been produced since 1996. Among all Mitsubishi models, Montero Sport/Pajero Sport ranks between Pajero (Montero) and Outlander.
Mitsubishi Pajero Sport analogs are Ford Everest, Toyota Fortuner, Chevrolet TrailBlazer, and Holden Colorado 7.

The engines used in Mitsubishi Pajero Sport are virtually the same as in Pajero/Montero.
In the first generation, diesel engines 4M40, 4M41, and 4D56, and gasoline 3.0-liter 6G72 and 3.5-liter 6G74 engines were used.
Changes occurred in the second generation: they replaced the 6G72 for 6B31 and added the inline-4 4G64. 4M40 was removed, and replaced by a new version of the 4D56. In 2015, the production of Pajero Sport 3 started. The 4N15 diesel and the gasoline 4D56 and 6B31 engines are used in it.
