Toyota T100

Introduction

Toyota T100 is a large full-size pickup, produced since 1993 till 1998. It was the predecessor of Toyota Tundra. T100 was situated above Toyota Tacoma and Toyota HiLux. T100 had such competitors as Ford F150, Chevrolet Silverado, Dodge Ram and other pickups of the same sizes, produced in the 90th years.

Toyota T100 engines are more simple than for Tundra. The most simple are 2.7-liter straight 4 cylinder 3RZ. Along with them V6 were also used, such as 3.0-liter 3VZ and 3.4-liter 5VZ. Since 1997 Toyota T100 TRD was produced. It was prepared by the sport branch of Toyota Racing Development. Its peculiarity was using Roots supercharger.
