Acura ILX is a compact sedan started in 2012. This car replaced another compact car, Acura CSX. Like its predecessor, it was created on the basis of Honda Civic.
In the Acura lineup, model ILX takes the position below Acura TLX.
Competitors of Acura ILX are Lexus CT200h, Infiniti Q30, Mercedes-Benz CLA200, Audi A3, Cadillac ATS, BMW 120i/125i, Jaguar XE and the like.
Acura ILX engines are almost the same as in the related Honda Civic. Here 2-liter R20A, as well as 2.4-liter I4 K24Z and K24V are found. There are versions ILX Hybrid with a 1.5-liter inline-4 LEA engine paired with an electric motor.
